We’re excited to announce that Jessica Balek is the VGM Forbin Employee Spotlight recipient for June 2023. In her role as a Process Lead, Jessica is passionate about supporting our clients and team in achieving optimal efficiency and delivering top-notch products. Jessica’s commitment to her role truly shines, making her an invaluable asset to our team! We cannot thank her enough for always providing exceptional service to our clients and consistently going above and beyond.  

We Interviewed Our Winner and This Is What She Had to Say: 

1. How long have you been working at Forbin?: Since November 2022. 

2. What is your role at Forbin?: Process Lead – managing projects on the website development team. 

3. What's your favorite thing about your job?: Seeing websites come to life after starting with nothing and getting to work with a team of people I enjoy. 

4. An interesting fact you may not know about me is: I was in 4-H for 9 years at the Iowa State Fair that just wrapped up. I showed cattle and pigs at our local county fair and did many projects that were sent to the state fair to be shown in the 4-H Exhibit Hall. 

5. Cats or dogs?: Dogs, always. 

6. Most importantly, hot or cold coffee?: My order is always a hot vanilla latte. 

7. Favorite quote: All the quotes that came to mind first are from Dodgeball. My favorite probably being about Bernice, but since that one is less appropriate, I will go with another classic from that movie: “That's a bold move, Cotton.” 

8. Lastly, if you could have one superpower what would it be?: Teleportation – I want the ability to transport anywhere I want when I want. It would eliminate driving and give me so much time for other things!
