Behind the Scenes Queen: Cheyenne Newman

VGM Forbin was very honored to announce that Cheyenne Newman is the VGM Forbin Employee Spotlight for the month of April 2022! Cheyenne holds many titles, including customer experience specialist, office coordinator, billing and graphic designer.

So much goes on behind the scenes that Cheyenne has just always taken care of, both for employees and customers, which is why she earned her title of behind-the-scenes queen!

We've interviewed our winner so you can get to know her a little better. Here’s what she had to say:

How long have you been working at VGM Forbin?
3.5 years
What is your role at VGM Forbin?
I am in the middle of a transition into a new role. I was previously our Inbound Design & Office Coordinator, helping to coordinate our internal marketing designs as well as our regular office duties and billing. My new role will be as VGM Forbin’s Customer Experience Specialist, with that new role I will be focusing on creating Raving Forbin Fans as well as continuing to evolve the VGM Forbin branding to be cohesive and amazing!
What's your favorite thing about your job?
The variety! Each day I come into the office I never know what is going to pop up. It always makes for an interesting day and can bring some interesting challenges to overcome. I also love all the people I work with in VGM Forbin and throughout the other divisions of VGM that I interact with. It really makes coming to work each day really enjoyable!
An interesting fact you may not know about me:
I know it’s crazy, but I love to eat insanely spicy food. Anything with Ghost Peppers or Carolina Reapers in the ingredients and I am immediately sold!
Most importantly, if you were stranded on an island what is one thing you would make sure to have on you?
A boat, so I can get away as I wish. But also, so I would be able to come back to enjoy the beach, and the sand!
Lastly, if you could have one superpower what would it be?
The ability to never need sleep!

Here is why Wendy thinks Cheyenne should be the spotlight: “Cheyenne does A LOT for VGM Forbin that may go unnoticed by some. She's in the office about every day and is ALWAYS WILLING to give an extra hand and help others. She makes coming into the office fun and is always thinking of ways for VGM Forbin to come together and feel included. She would do anything for anyone!”

Ana added,

“An outside-the-box thinker, though she isn't part of the marketing team, she often provides great advice for social content/graphics, will assist with helping me format documents, files, etc.
Very knowledgeable about design and branding
Will always help even if it's not her area of expertise
Immediately responds and assists with customer care issues (as evidenced when a client emailed me about an invoice, she immediately helped and delved deep into it to figure it all out which I appreciate).”
